Now, let’s understand the problem. Asthma is a chronic and a long-term inflammatory lung disease which makes breathing difficult by narrowing the airways in the lungs. The symptoms of Asthma include difficulty in breathing, coughing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness.

  • Walking: This is the best method to overcome any kind of diseases including Asthma. Warming up is very important to maintain your tolerance level. Start a moderate-to- brisk walking for about 30 minutes, with five minutes of warm up and five minutes of cool-down. As per the experts, there would be an improved asthma control and fitness levels without provoking an attack to asthmatics.

  • Swimming: This is a good and complete exercise and also one of the best exercises for asthma. Swimming helps to build up the muscles used for the breathing purpose by exposing the lungs to lots of warm, moist air, which is less likely to trigger asthma symptoms.
  • Yoga: Just like walking, this also helps to deal with almost all kind of diseases including asthma as well. Some specific yoga poses help directly to your lungs and make it healthier and relaxed and help to activate more areas of the lung. Regular practice of Yoga for two-and-a-half hours a week for 10 weeks might help to cut down your medication.
  • Baseball: The simple concept is any activity or exercises where your heart rate and breathing rate is sustained for at least 5-to-6 minutes continuously would be a great condition to trigger asthma than stop-and-start activities.
