There are many side effects associated with every drug. These side effects may be tolerated but sometimes they become more severe. Steroids and many other anti-inflammatory drugs are a key treatment for Asthma. Steroids work effectively by reducing the swelling, inflammation, and mucus from the airway. Thus airways become less inflamed. Anti-inflammatory drugs like steroids and corticosteroids.
