Race 3 Joins the 100 Cr. Club In Mere 3 Days. However, Observes A Huge Dip On Monday

Despite the criticism he received from all spaces, Salman Khan has again proved that he is the ‘Baap of Bollywood’, especially when his latest release, Race 3 bagged ₹ 29.17 Cr. on Friday, ₹ 38.14 Cr. on Saturday and ₹ 39.16 Cr. on Sunday making it a whacking ₹ 106.5 Cr. in mere three days. While on Monday it dipped by 51.18% and ended up beating only ₹ 14.24 Cr. With this, the action-thriller has now minted ₹ 120.71 Cr till now.

According to trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, “Race 3 hits the ball out of the park on Day 2. Eid festivities gave a massive boost to its business," he tweeted, along with the prediction of ₹ 100 Cr. plus the weekend.

Race 3 has now become the 13th film of Salman that has crossed the ₹ 100 cr. mark and the fourth film after Bajarangi Bhaijaan, Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai to get to the three digit mark only in three days. Moreover, Race 3 beats the previous releases of the year like Padmavat (19 Cr) and Baaghi 2 (25 Cr) in terms of the opening day collections.

Produced by Salman Khan Films (SKF) and Ramesh Taurani, Race 3 has joined the league of the actor’s Eid blockbusters including Wanted, Kick and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Moreover, this film kicked off new trends even before its release. You will be surprised to know that the makers signed a multi-crore deal to sell its satellite rights at a whopping sum of ₹ 130 Cr and now has become the highest in terms of selling TV rights.

This is also interesting that Race 3 received negative reviews right from the first day from all directions. Even its trailer was trolled on social media for being flimsy, but despite all the odds, the film took a flying start and continued putting the Box Office on fire.
