Mesopotamian civilization was founded in early 4th millennium BC in the middle east region of Asia. It started in the Lower Palaeolithic period, with the pictographic script in the Uruk period. Later the Mesopotamia was conquered by the Muslim Empires and renamed as Iraq, it happened in 7th century AD. Then it was developed into one of the developed and socially complex states. Mosques were built in the modern ages which are directly the citizens worship place. Iraq was later developed into one of the wealthy countries across the globe.

There is no much change in the culture because they follow the Islamic culture, normally in their daily life. History says Mesopotamia has some important cities like Nippur, Uruk, Babylon, and Assur. It also has some several territories along with the states. Iraq is not a big country, geographically. The modern culture followed in this region is same as the culture followed by all the Islamic countries.

Mesopotamian civilization is one of the civilizations started or established by the Arab Empire. It is fondly known as Iraq in this modern world.
