Yes, the Legends!! They truly exemplify the term "legends of comedy". The two comedians Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover have entertained the world by their outstanding performance in “Comedy Nights with Kapil Sharma” as Bittu Sharma and Gutthi respectively. In the short period, both the actors earned fans for an entire lifetime but unfortunately, the show didn’t last for long.
After a grand success of the show, last year Sunil just walked out of “The Kapil Sharma Show” after a big fight between two of them in a flight. Kapil had allegedly verbally abused him and hit him with a shoe during the conversation. After that, they parted their ways and are working now on their own TV shows separately.
Recently, Kapil, who had earlier taken a break from the television, is now making a comeback with a show called “Family Time With Kapil Sharma”. The news truly refreshed the fans and people are now eagerly waiting for the show to launch.
During a media session, one fan asked Sunil about working with Kapil again, and as a response, Sunil tweeted, “There are more people who asked me the same question. But I didn’t get a call for this show. My phone number is the same.” This is when their verbal fight started all again.
On a reply to the Sunil’s tweet, Kapil decided to keep “nothing personal” and tweeted “Please don’t spread rumors that I didn’t call you… He is lying. I called him 100 times and sent my people to his home. Even I went to his home to meet him for the show but now I will not let anybody take advantage of my name. Enough is enough,”. He continued and wrote: “Yes, I love him but sometimes it hurts a lot when you do a lot of hard work for somebody and he just wants fame in your name. Why did he choose to speak up now? A year later?” “I don’t want his support but at least he should not spread rumors. I am tired of all this.”
Responding to this tweet, Sunil tweeted, “Now people know the answer why I didn’t join the show earlier. I am talking about ‘this’ show. You are bringing up an old topic. I didn’t speak up for one year as details about your bad behavior would come out to the public and I wanted your dignity to stay intact. We have done very good work together. I referred to this show and not the previous show. And you are a better comedian. Everyone knows it. But I will still keep trying with whatever I know. Take care. There are only two kidneys and one liver. Take care of your health. Again, I will say I have not been offered for this show. Good luck with the new show. Wishes and love,”.
From all that happened and the way things are unfolding, there is no way to reconcile the two of them anytime soon. The shows, the work, the effort and hard work they had put out as a team has entertained millions of people around the world and made it successful. Even though it seems they might never merge again, the fans still hope to see the day when the two legends will entertain the world together once again.
