Navratri is on its full swing and devotees are paying the best tribute to ‘Ambey Ma’ to make her happy. In addition, Karwa Chauth is also around the corner. Fasting or Vrat is the most common part devotees adhere to. However, those who work (like me) also need some energy to get their stuff done simultaneously. Therefore, I suggest these delicious as well as fulfilling food recipes:
Sabudana Laddu
You must have binged on the Khichadi and other dishes made of Sabudana, but here I recommend blending it with coconut this time and experience a magical flavor.
Ingredients
Brown sugar or Jaggery-Half Cup
Chopped Coconut-1/4 Cup
Finely Cut Almonds-1/4 Cup
Finely Cut Cashews-1/4 Cup
Finely Cut Pistachio-1/4 Cup
Saffron Threads-As per requirement
Cardamom Powder-1 teaspoon
Sugar- Half Cup
Ghee-1 Tb spoon
Almonds- 6-8
Recipe
Roast Sabudana for about 5-7 minutes in a non-stick pan and grind. Heat Brown Sugar in a separate non-stick pan. Add coconut and cook for 2-3 minutes. Then add sugar and once it is dissolved add dry fruits and saffron to it.
Blend both-Sabudana and Coconut mix with Ghee and give the shape of laddus.
Badam Milk Shake
Ingredients
Almonds-12-15
Cow Milk-2 Cups
Sugar or Honey-2 Tb Spoon
Cardamom Powder-Half Tb Spoon
Ice Cubes-5-6 (Optional)
Add all the aforementioned ingredients in a jar and mix them well. Serve it once it’s ice-cooled.
