In which countries wearing an hijab is mandatory?

The hijab is ordered in the religion ‘Islam’. Many countries have strict rules relating to the clothing of a woman. These countries run their laws written in the holy book of Muslims- ‘Quran’. These countries are mainly part of gulf side. Here even the foreigners who visit have to follow the strict clothing rules.

The covering of the body is universally accepted though by Muslims, but the non-muslims see it as a sign of oppression, so in many non-Islamic countries Hijab is totally banned by the governments.

In Iran, the women have to cover their heads. This is so much indulged in the culture of Iran. It is considered a shame for a woman who doesn't wear head scarves. Here, women chose to cover their body parts but the head covering is mandatory.

In Iraq, it is a customary to wear Hijab. In the public places, women usually wear Abaya or burqa that covers the body. South Iran mainly follows these custom compared to other parts of Iran.

In Afghanistan, the women wear abaya with Niqab. Here the customs and traditions are more than anything. The women are very less seen on the streets. Only if required they rush out of their houses accompanying by at least one man.

In Pakistan, there is no hard and fast rule implemented by the government. The women have their own choices but the people here are much sensitive to follow the customs. In fact, in many sectors, women are mandatory to cover their heads.

Syria, Palestine and many other countries follow the laws ordered in Islam. The law of hijab is vital in these countries because it is believed as a Sunnah.

Islamic countries women wear Hijab not only because of it is ordered in Islam religion but also because to follow the strict rules implemented by the governments.
