Undoubtedly, India and I am not saying this because I am an Indian and I love my country that of course I do but following are the facts that cement my confident statement.

According to Military.com, Indian force reserves the 4th place in the world in terms of strength. The website mentions,

“India has a large number of troops, but those are largely reserve personnel (2.8 million reserves vs. almost 1.4 million active). It boasts a large number of armored vehicles at over 11,000, but has a relatively small air force and navy and relies on more prosperous allies for much of its defense development.

But some of those joint ventures are paying off. While India’s Sukhoi planes purchased from Russia have repeatedly run into problems, the country is also working with Russia to perfect a fifth-generation fighter and a supersonic cruise missile that could be carried by submarines, planes, and vehicles.”

India is a nuclear state, of course, Pakistan too possesses this power, but what makes the difference here are the advanced missiles and submarines that we have to carry those nuclear warheads. Just to name a few:

Sagarika Submarine-launched missile

The short-range Prithvi-II and Agni-I, the medium-range Agni-II and the intermediate-range Agni-III. “At least two other longer-range Agni missiles are under development: the Agni-IV and Agni-V,”

Reason number 3

The Indian Air Force is the air arm of the Indian Armed Forces. Its complement of personnel and aircraft assets ranks fourth amongst the airforces of the world. Its primary mission is to secure Indian airspace and to conduct aerial warfare during an armed conflict.
