I believe that our lives are not just our own. We all contribute to the lives of others and shape them as much as we're influenced by others. I believe in living for others and I want to be remembered.

Maybe I've seen too many dramatic movies but I believe in fighting for what's right, fighting for an ideal, fighting for success.

My objective is that I want my life to have to mean to others. If that means dying at an early age then so be it.

Another part of me also feels that life should be enjoyed. I can't sit in one place for more than an hour. I always want the thrill of adventures or the company of friends.

To me, living simply means living primarily for myself and living an easy life which I don't think I can do. I simply can't be that selfish and I'd be bored while I did it.

Maybe I'll die with the thousands in a war, but I'll have died with the satisfaction of serving my country. I might have an accident, but I'll have the best of memories with the people in my life with me. Despite our advances in science, humanity is still quite terrible when it comes to predictions of death. Personally, I'll prefer that it's not one in vain.

Rage, rage against the dying of the light."

Let the fate decide that.

To me, dying is a day worth living for. We know that death is eminent yet we try to act that all the things we have from a materialistic point of view matter to us. It’s not how many days you live but how much you live in those days. That’s what I call an extra-ordinary life.

Living simple or having an extraordinary life…? Well, who would choose a life without adventure? Every one of us wants to have a great or we can say an extraordinary life, we want to live full of every moment which comes ahead. And like everyone else I would also choose a life full of adventure, it doesn’t matter if it is long or short.

Being an ordinary is never an option for me, imagine living a life walking the same path every day doing the same thing breathing in and out and calling it living, just ask yourself if it’s living or just breathing? Like getting good marks having enrolled into a respectable college later on having a decent job, getting married in the mid-20s having kids and getting enough money to feed them and then working hard to provide them such a regular life which you lived till your mid-20s.

Well, this is what our parents did, and what they expect from us to do. Like every mother, my mom also wishes the same for me. Though nothing is wrong in this, as we say every individual is different, they have different dreams, different passion, and different goals.

And for me, my ultimate goal is to not regretting anything when I am on my death bed. Living life as it is meant to be. I don’t dream to be rich or famous or having kids or to follow the same rule which the society had made for everyone. I always wished for a life where I can live with my own ideas having no limitations being free and living life on my own conditions rather being controlled.

Being a girl my boundaries are set by the society. Girls are not supposed to dream big or to go against these so-called societal norms. A girl is supposed to be ideal women, an ideal daughter, sister, wife, daughter-in-law and at last a mother. When does she live for herself? I cannot become SHE, who lives for everyone else but herself.

As kids we all aspiring dreams, to fly and to run but as we grow up, we all become part of a race which we never wanted to participate in as a kid, competitions for getting a 9 to 5 job, to get a cubical which becomes our life, but I don’t want to be one of that.

I wish to be a travel photographer so that I can roam around and can admire the real beauty of our world rather than the four walls of a cubical and considering it as my world.

I want to meet people, learn a different language, culture, principles, and values and to become a whole new person. To give and receive a part of me and a part of every person I meet.

Wasting my health for money and then wasting my money on my health is not my cup of tea.

Though it is a one liner but it has so much deep meaning that many people find their lifetime small for just finding the meaning. It not only the case with just this line, we always search for the meaning of our life, The purpose of what we are doing every day, The purpose of everything but before knowing any of the answers it gets over. So the bottom line is that it is the journey that can become unforgettable because we don't know whether we would be able to reach the destination or not. So now the question arises is whether you want your journey to be short but exciting or not? I am not saying simple journey can be a happy journey but when you look back your long journey you will find you have just traversed the path that is already traveled by others.

Kabira jab hum paida huye, jag hanse hum roye
Aisi karni kar chalo, hum hanse jag roye- Kabir

Meaning: when I was born (I cried) all laughed in happiness
Let me do such deeds that when I will die, I will laugh and others cry in distress

So though a journey even when it is short, when it is filled with all kind of emotion, achievements and failures will feel complete than that tediously long simple journey because here you are not traversing another person's path, here you are creating a path at which someone will traverse after getting inspiration from you. I am sure no one just wants to survive their life without any aim or purpose and when you start fighting for your aim or dream that journey become extraordinary and if your passion takes you to your dream then you have lived your life completely no matter how short it was.
