Didn't Walmart see a downfall of Flipkart before buying a share of it?

I don't see a great future of Flipkart in India. It's going down every day and customers are running away from Flipkart due to their poor services and great service given by Amazon. Not sure how Flipkart guys were able to transfer their headache to Walmart, but for sure Walmart is going to regret this buy.
