Rajasthan Is Now the First State In the Country to Have A POCSO Court In Every 35 Judiciary District and 21 Additional POCSO Courts
The Government of Rajasthan has announced to open 55 new POCSO courts in the state. The Rajasthan High court administration has immediately aligned presiding officers. However, only additional charges have been given to all of these for the time being. These courts have started their work making Rajasthan the first state in the country where one POCSO court is located in the 35 judiciary districts and 21 additional POSCO courts have come into existence.
How will These Courts Change the Scenario?
It will boost the decantation, which is highly needed at a time when crime against women is at its peak, especially rapes and that too with minors.
The delay in proceedings is considered the major cause of injustice because the facts and proofs are manipulated in most of the cases.
