I still remember my first introduction with a cinema hall was at the when I was eight and that experience left me in sheer surprise that how come images be seen on a wide piece of cloth from a small room where the MM projector used to be kept. The time took a leap and technology brought a drastic change into the cinema viewing experience. Now, that wide piece of cloth on which we watched some of the best films till now, is going to be replaced with an LED screen soon.
PVR Cinemas and Samsung, in a joint venture, have announced the launch in India and Delhi’s Vasant Kunj PVR Icon will be the first-ever Onyx Cinema where the audience will experience films on an LED screen.
This latest technology by Samsung will no more require the projection-based systems and will let the audience have the most enthralling enhancement to the film viewing experience. This would be a great move since the inception of the Indian film industry over 120 years ago.
Actually, this technology is quite similar to the one available in your LED TV screens; therefore, no pitch-dark environment will be required to have a brighter viewing. Moreover, Samsung claims the advanced tech will offer HDR support, quality blacks, and superior 3D experience. These features will give not only a brighter viewing but also you will get the depth value.
