KCR's Third Front - Gaining Large Momentum

The recent high-numbered fraudulent scams which came out and more significantly, which took place during the rule of BJP government, where Narendra Modi’s “Naa Khaoongaa Naa Khaanedoongaa” gained popularity, is of high-interest currently. KCR who was a distant supporter of BJP has now come up with a new bundle of ideas and criticisms, which interests the political leaders of other states as well.

KCR expresses his idea of forming a third front to bring a qualitative change in politics, which will be a non-BJP and non-Congress supporter. For this, he is acquiring support from different political parties of neighboring states to showcase it at a broad level. KCR claims to have the support of West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Jharkhand’s Ex CM Hemanth Soren, and the local AIMIM President Asaduddin. He seems to have gained support from a few political parties from Maharashtra as well. It is already evident that Pavan Kalyan has been backing him off-late.

Points Quoted

KCR was quoting that BJP and Congress failed in developing India, whereas Singapore and China have excelled with meager resources. He criticized that the only progress these parties brought were the financial progress of Vijay Mallya and Nirav Modi. He said that there has been no federalism in this country while the political parties are gaming for their profits. KCR has coldly criticized that BJP and Congress have done nothing while there is lot more they can do.

KCR mentioned many things that attracted the spectators magically and prompted them to think about what he was saying. He spoke on various issues, quoting the lack of proper administration.

Changes in Constitution

KCR suggested that Indian laws and constitution needs some changes according to the needs of people. Health, education, agriculture sectors and town development activities should be completely handed over to the state for better development as they know what is lacking rather than someone sitting in the central capital.

He questioned, “Why should a Prime Minister do all such Panchayat level works, while he can make them work? The Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana is a mean way of playing politics. While SK Dey brought the great structure of ruling through Panchayats, they messed it up, manipulated and remodeled it according to their interests.”

Reservations and Restorations

“There are more than 85% of SCs, Dalit, Girijan, and minorities here in Telangana itself and how can we give 50% reservation to them?” asks KCR. He said that there are many poor people in OC who are not benefitted and the central government does not have proper insight.

The failures of BJP and Congress in bringing nothing to an end was also discussed and constant postponement of issues by these parties was also highlighted in the third front formation speech. KCR stated, “Brijesh Kumar Tribunal was laid to distribute Krishna and Godavari waters among us. It was started in 2004 which is still not finalized. The ex-supreme court judge could not finalize the things after 14 years whereas he had access to all the technical aspects that could help out.” he said.

Farmers are Important

KCR has also pitched in a few points about the farmers who are being neglected. He stated that he read all the 12 five-year plans implemented in this country and has been interacting with many intellectuals since 2004 when he had been to Delhi. Farmers were never given a hike in the minimum support price of paddy, while all the rates were hiked, unnecessarily. “Though all the other goods are given a good rate, the farmer is always being ignored without being given a reasonable rate. They never gave insurance for crop loans as they never cared about farmers. At least an amount of Rs.8000 for farmers should be given as an investment.” says KCR. He adds in the third front speech, “While there is 3,20,000MW power produced in India, it is not being utilized completely by the country as many towns and villages are still in the dark. They sell it to neighbouring countries like Nepal. How is this a way of ruling the country, while gaining profits by not providing enough for the citizens?”

The Right Path

KCR claims that they are threatening him to be jailed. He questions, “Who cares? The one who fought for Telangana for 14 years does not care to go behind the bars, anyways. Whoever touches us will be burnt. We are so genuine.” He adds, “I will show the right path and way to the Indian politics, where and how they should think and act for betterment.”

KCR suggested reforms in Indian Constitution and Laws are required, which will allow the state governments to take decisions on their own. He emphasizes that a non-Congress and a non-BJP third front has to be formed with truthful co-operative federalism, in which the Central should have limited access, while the state governments should have greater access to bring the reforms their states need, as they know much more about the flaws rather than the ones sitting in Delhi.

He announces, “The change in Telangana should motivate the country which will help to bring a change in national politics where all the single-minded people come to a conclusion to implement all these changes.” No wonder KCR's third front meeting attracted a huge crowd and audience even online as these points raised by him are worth to pondering over.
