Pregnancy is the gestation period during which the offspring develops inside the womb of a woman as fetus. There can be more than one offspring at times based on the embryos formed. The embryo develops into a full grown fetus in 40 – 42 weeks. Pregnancy can occur due to sexual intercourse or due to medically assisted reproduction methods.
