In campaigns series, Germany controlled continental Europe and made the Axis alliance with both Italy and Japan. The war primarily continued between the European Axis Power and the coalition of the United Kingdom and the British Commonwealth the North Africa and East Africa campaigns.

In the year 1941, June, European Axis power conquered the Soviet Union, opening the biggest land theatre of the war ever seen, which grab the major part of the Axis military forces into a war of attrition. Then Japan attacked the United States and European Colonies in the Pacific Ocean and conquered much of the Western Pacific.

In 1942 the axis got halted, and Japan lost the battle of Midway-Germany and Italy were defeated in North Africa and then decisively at Stalingrad in the Soviet Union. After the German defeat on the Eastern front, the Allied invasion of  Sicily and Italy brought about Italian surrender, and Allied victories in the Pacific, the Axis lost the initiative and undertook strategic retreat on all fronts. In the year 1944, the Western enemies invaded German-occupied France, while the Soviet Union regained all of its territorial losses.
