There are many mysteries in ancient and modern history which are still unsolved and scientists are still trying to find a way to resolve it. These mysteries were also tried to be resolved at the time of their occurrence but they were not resolved. Some of these mysteries have been described here.
Mary Celeste:
Mary Celeste was a sailing vessel which was found in Atlantic ocean. It was found by Del Gratia brigantine in 1872. Mary Celeste was sailing partially and does not have any lifeboat. The sailing vessel was carrying alcohol containers which were kept at the same place where they were kept at the time of loading. The belongings of the captain were also not disturbed. But the crew who took the sailing vessel disappeared mysteriously and there is no clue regarding their disappearance.
Jack, The Ripper:
It has been more than 120 years the story of a serial killer in London who murdered eleven prostitutes has been lingering. The throats of the victims were cut and the body was mutilated. In the criminal cases, the murderer was named as Whitechapel Murderer and Leather Apron. The murderer was called Jack The Ripper due to a letter spread in the media. The letter was supposed to be written by the murderer who has never been traced till date.
Devil’s Footprints:
This occurred in the city of Devon in England where hoof like marks could be seen in the snow. The marks could be seen till 40 miles. People believed that these are the footprints of satan or devil as the marks were in the form of cloven hoofs. The foot prints could be seen on the roofs and high walls.of the snow-covered houses.
