What is your review of Vishwaroop 2?

Trisha

After 5 years of Vishwaroop 1, Kamal Haasan presents its sequel, which has the same patriotic and flag-waving flavor to offer. However, unlike V1, which invited many controversies due to its title and some other religious matters, the latest installment of this action-thriller has not yet put itself in anything of that sort, and that is something worth applauding in today's era. So, what’s new does it have. Let’s find out.

Story

The sequel begins from where the RAW agent Major Wisam Ahmed Kashmiri (Kamal Haasan) comes out of the mission of Al-Qaida. He immediately takes up another mission where he has to end terrorism spread by Umar Qureshi (Rahul Bose). This endeavor paves a way for the introduction of many dangerous as well as different folks and circumstances, which really make Wisam go through a tough time. However, Wisam anyhow has to save London and New Delhi from being bombed and turned into a wreckage.

Direction

Helmed by Kamal Haasan himself, the direction of the film cannot be blamed as the story itself has many loopholes. Kamal Hasan's direction could have been exceptional if the script of the film had some potential.

Why Should I Watch?

Although, Vishwaroop 2 is stuffed with all that make a spy-thriller action film; guns, bombs, cars, helicopters, grenades, and gore, but the spirit which keeps the audience engrossed and make them dumbfound in the end, is missing somewhere.

So, it's a strict NO NO from Trisha. 😉😉
