If we need to buy any product for daily use, we visit a departmental store/super market where you find thousands of products useful for daily lifestyle. In the same way, Google play-store is a store for all Android mobile phones. You could browse and download apps: some of them are for free and some of them charge a nominal price.

How to access the Google Play Store in Android Devices?

To access the store, you need to have a Google account, therefore, create a Google account (Gmail Account) using your Mobile phone or PC if you have not created the Google account earlier.

These are the steps, you need to go through to purchase, download and install the Google Play Store apps.

1) Access the Android device's Apps Icon: In your Android device, search the device’s app icon and open it. In most of the Android devices, the app’s icon is placed in the lower right corner of the screen.

2) Click on the “Play Store” icon: When you open the device’s app, there will be many apps available inside it, among all, find the "Play Store" icon that looks like a white bag with multicolored triangle picture on it.

3) Login to Your Google Account: Once you click on the "Play Store" icon, it will ask you to login to your Google account If you have not login earlier before accessing the play store.

If you have multiple Google account and the first time you are accessing the Play Store, choose and use the Google account which you can always use in the future to get items from the Google play store, because, purchases are not handy between different Google accounts, you will need to log into the account which you had already used before for purchasing.

4) Keep an Alternate Google Account: You should keep an alternate Google account to access the Google Play Store items, because, it may happen, you forget the password of the main Google account which you frequently use to access items of the Google Play Store. 

To keep an alternate Google account for the Google Play Store, go to the “Settings” >> Accounts >> Add Account >> Google, and then follow the give instructions to add an alternative Google account. Likewise, you will be having two accounts to access the Google Play Store items.

5) Open the Google Play Store and Select the Items: Open the Google Play Store and make your choices from the items present in the store.

Or, use the search box to search the item of your choice.

6) Purchase, download and install the items: Once you have selected the items, look at the detail provided with the items with the prices, if the item is free, directly download and install it, but if the item includes a little fee, first purchase, and then download and install it.

If the item is already there in your device which you are trying to download, you won't get an “Install” button, only the "Update”, "Uninstall”, and "Open" button will be there.

Using “Uninstall” button, you can uninstall all unwanted items from your Android device which are no longer use for you.

How to access the Google Play Store in Chromebook?

1) Make sure, your Chromebook is on Chrome OS version 53 and up.

2) Sign-in to your Google account and get the Google Play Store app (Android apps): Go to the Settings >> Google Play Store and enable it >> Accept all terms and conditions >> Click on “Agree” and then “Accept” button.

3) Find, download and install the Androids apps in Chromebook same as Android devices.
