Nowhere, not even in the home, temples, schools or outside. In India, they are not safe at all. The rate of such shameful incidents is increasing drastically, like blinking your eyes. It does not matter what she wears, what is her age or who she is.
This is because they have been raped in shorts, sarees, and even burkas. Also, they are raped by her own brother, father, grandfather, friend or any random person. This is not even considering whether she in diapers, 2, 5, 15, 25 or even 60 years old. They are getting raped anytime, anywhere and by anybody.
This rape case will only stop, if the mentality of the society changes, the way women are treated in the country and if there would be the cruelest punishments to all rapists, avoiding their ages.
But, no idea and no guarantee when this miracle will happen in India. So, the best way for any girl/woman to be safe is SELF-DEFENCE. Nobody else can help her immediately if she does not help herself.
Being alert, carrying some legal secret weapons and self-defense techniques will only save a girl/women/lady in India. Sorry for < 5 years girls of this country!!
