CodeVita is a prestigious coding content organized every year by TATA Consultancy Services Limited who want to promote coding as a sport. This contest identifies the passionate coders across the globe.
Eligibility: Undergraduate and postgraduate students from science and engineering background are eligible for this, and those who complete their academic courses in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022. The Registrations have ended on 15th July. The qualifier rounds will be conducted in Dec 2018 and finals in Feb 2019.
Format: It is a team contest. A team should contain at least 2 members from the same institute. After initial eliminations, there will be a global round where top teams compete for the prestigious title.
Prize: The first prize is $10,000; second prize is $7,000 and the third prize is of $3,000.
Apart from the cash prize, the top coders will be offered up to 3000 jobs, and the best performers will be waived off the aptitude test. The Global ranking will be an asset in your CV. It provides opportunities to showcase your programming skills by competing with the best coders in the world.
