Plastic is a sparingly used material which is simply ruining and damaging the environment in many ways. Yes, we can make this globe a plastic-free up to much extent with the support of the government and the people. The government should only be framing rules but they should let people understand its disadvantages by advertising on television and other possible means.

Plastic is mainly used in the form of carrying bags while purchasing groceries at the supermarkets, vegetables, meat, curries, parcels etc. At many small places or local areas, tea and coffee are sold in plastic cups. This can be eliminated completely by introducing bags made up of cloth or paper cups which is strong and easily degradable.
Water Bottles:
Drinking water is mostly sold in plastic bottles which are available almost everywhere. After drinking water nobody is re-using instead throwing the bottles into dustbins. Though it is quite difficult, people should carry steel and copper bottles where they can refill it, which saves money and are good for the environment also. Drinking water in steel and copper is quite healthier when compared to plastic bottles.
Electronic Wastage Contains Plastic:
Various electronic devices and accessories do contain plastic material in it. To avoid this, we need to control this wastage at a global level because there is no sufficient equipment to crush them. Re-using it is another good idea but the only drawback it is a time taking process.
